These weapons were tested and normalised in colonial settings, such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong - far from public scrutiny in Britain itself. Colonised populations were treated as proving grounds for crowd control tactics later exported elsewhere.

As at February 2026, there were 225 senators + members of parliament capable of voting against Compulsory Income Management.
Only 13 including @greens.org.au, @senatorthorpe.bsky.social + @andrewwilkiemp.bsky.social .
Everyone else voted for a #racism policy, or didn't vote.
