the creature and this movie mean so so much to me 😭 i hope this conveys my love better than my jumbled words can. i couldnt get a movie poster and havent found the art book (and lil envious of the pr boxes lol) but i can create!! ive been loving all the art!! i wanted to contribute

I am planning on making the outfits and wig after a small trip but making him was a fun challenge of skills! i started with a g3 heath monster high base, altered all the limbs and sculpted onto the face. i also carved lines for the scars-hard to see but the texture is there! (photo before/after)

and yes! the eye does glow under certain light!

i will be fine, i will be productive, my wifi will not keep intermittently disconnecting, people will be cureous of shared office spaces-

i came in so i could focus but boy howdy. boy oh boy. jesus fucking christ, if you will. ughhhhhHHHH

to be fair though- i wanted to get to the lab by 8, got held up by a massive thunderstorm; got multiple teams messages on my drive in asking to meet once i got in; that meeting shouldve lasted less time; and now a cubicle neighbor wont stop yapping. my headphones can only do so much. ahhhhHHHHHHH

was trying to log into my email and gotta love microsoft outlook being like *oopsies! not sure why but i am not working!* but tell me why my response was a sigh and muttering, "oh, Im sure..." im... i have turned into this tbh

got a ticket to see frankenstein in theaters this week i may weep tears of joy! im going to take the time to dress up too to take a small breather this week from dissertation hell (even tho i dont think i have the time to do so, i am making time)

updating this to keep myself motivated even on my breaks:

- Finished the first bullet point (decent and importance chunk)
- currently working thru reworking the rest of that chapter (this is the biggest rework section) (20% thru!)
(i aim to be done with the rework draft of the chapter by 130)

alright done yappin bout thesis to dos, going to now go do them/attempt to yippee.

previous written stuff i imported was collaborative which is why i am rewriting it all, i do not want to even skirt close to copying or stepping on cohorts toes despite the overlap of our works ya know?
all the old summaries imported took my chapter from 4 to 22 pages tho so big rework.

deadline is tomorrow afternoon. it will probably be submitted tomorrow cuz of needing advisors notes/edits which... we shall see how that goes lowkey. but im pumped that im at this point. was terrified last night, sitting around 60ish pages.

rough page count is currently 80 of content to review (81 if abstract included), 100 overall. personal goal was ~80-90 so when refining, adding, etc, should stay around this range. very exciting yall.

clarify- i wanted to submit this early (by midnight tonight)

i think i also have to add the dedication, acknowledgements, and the bio sketch but thats less formal than everything else so yippee

still to do:
- missing mini summaries on background dynamic models
- better explain temporary/current results being processed
- rework the conclusion section
- reword/rework/edit everything written (minus 1.5 chapters)
- potentially break 1 chapter into 3
- replace figures
- formatting

- i am excited im at *this* point before 10am. means i get to spend most of my time rewriting and reworking things instead of hunting down old reviews of mine or others. going to pull up the mighty thesaurus, slam an energy drink, and ascend.

rough page count was hit with the absolute worst and incomplete draft frankensteined together from multiple papers ive worked on (sections i need to rewrite esp for that reason) , temporary images and graphs, notes to self, tiny missing chunks, and a conclusion that hasnt been touched since may so-

now my hands need to cooperate so i can actually type without semi intense pain 🙃 plz pookies work, id spray u with wd40 if i could, cmon,,,

im not stressing the amount of pages too too much tho cuz the formatting makes it pretty easy to slam thru. ive written 15 single spaced tiny font essays in a day, this format i can easily slam 30 i think... ough im overthinking,,, anyways.

paper final results and conclusions are really going to be my 10% to finish, but i am going to try to put enough stand by material in there... idk im ough im stressed.
