Science Saturday is a storytime with hands-on activities that encourage the exploration of literacy, math, and science for pre-school aged children! The next one is happening November 1st at 10:30 AM in the Main Meeting Room, and the theme will be reflections!

Cooks and Books at C3 (Corvallis Community Center) is happening October 23rd at 5 PM! We'll be learning about Peruvian cooking with Valery Cam. Valery will demonstrate how to prepare Ají de Gallina, one of Peru’s most beloved traditional dishes.

Raise your hand if you've been enjoying the new Taylor Swift album nonstop since yesterday...If your hand is in the air, join us for a Taylor Swift Party on October 18th from 2-4 PM! Make and trade friendship bracelets, snap a picture in our photo booth, and decorate a tote bag or sunglasses.

Starting Monday, we're hosting a Fall Food Drive at all of our libraries and C3! September 29th through October 12th, you can bring in canned foods (please no glass jars or homemade items) to help support Linn Benton Food Share. Canned fruits, veggies, soups & meats are especially requested!

On October 4 at 3 PM, we're welcoming Yukio Shimomura to talk about his and his family's experiences during WWII. They were among the more than 110,000 Japanese-Americans who were forcibly incarcerated after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. This event is free and open to everyone!

Summer Reading for all ages ends Aug. 31! Don't stress if you haven't had a chance to turn in your log or bingo card: you have until Sep. 10 to turn them in. You can pick up finisher prizes (while supplies last) & be entered into the various prize drawings as long as you turn everything in by then!
