Can you imagine just taking a whole ass month to cross a continent just reading books and watching the most kick ass sunrises/sunsets?
That alone is worth the cost of admission to full communism.
As the saying goes, many such cases.

I am aware this is an unpopular way of thinking on Coruscant.

The way westerners travel, the expense, the toll on the planet. No one deserves it really if everyone canβt.
What we deserve is trains, slow boats, dirigibles and the time to take them to authentic experiences and sharing of our cultures.
Iβve pretty much vowed to not travel till this is the case.
Been 25 years since I went somewhere and it wasnβt work related.
I think about all the people who never have had the opportunity.
Then I think of an old co-workers maga dad who died on the plane to Dubaiβ¦itβs okay, no one who knows me is here.

My slides danger move was showing my unhoused friend who scraps for money all the dumpsters in the industrial parks where I do my bike rides.
The upside was I quickly realized my mistake and relegated myself to being outside the dumpster holding the flashlight and being a lookout.
Truly no one to blame but ourselves.
Just pissed away possibilities of a shining future for baubles.
Somehow as a high school dropout the were still welcoming and even let me keep a shelf in the MITERS shop teach me stuff.
Cool people but also when someone leaves to go work for ratheon to work on bird shaped drones or something itβs kinda a bummer π«
In the late aughts there was basically no one in Boston visibly or on the internet building e-bikes, so I volunteered at the medialab which led to MITERS and between the two of them the train model where you could play Tetris on the office buildings which they also did on the real buildings.

We do not use it in our writing or editorial processes, and we're proud of the fact that Anime Herald Magazine is the work of actual humans at every level.

And well anyway

Or, when you've been compelled to engage with a system that conflicts with your moral code! Feeling "negative" emotions like guilt and shame is an informative part of the human condition. It can be healthy!

And before the US drug itβs feet into the war, in a smoky board room Allen Dulles was shedding literal tears when it became official government policy not to sign correspondence to Germany with a HH.

Itβs nearly impossible at least for a USian to get to Marxism without being an anarchist.
The government after all spends a great amount of coin keeping it that way.
