This is important. More than 700 Harvard faculty, with diverse views, have now signed a letter urging the university administration to "publicly condemn attacks on universities," "legally contest and refuse to comply with unlawful demands that threaten academic freedom" and +

So it turns out Pete Hegseth lied. And Michael Waltz lied. And Tulsi Gabbard lied. And also lied to Congress while under oath. And John Ratliffe lied. And also lied to Congress while under oath.

And as ever Jeffrey Goldberg and the Atlantic were telling the truth.

This is why journalism matters.

Democrats: Send in the Shadow Cabinet! To fight Trump, the party needs unconventional thinking and a more aggressive footing in the information wars. Our friends across the pond have a good idea that they can steal.

Noβ€”the Democrats don’t have a leader. And that’s fine and normal. Someone will emerge. But in the meantime, here’s an idea.

Trump Seeks More Sway in Picking Kennedy Center Honorees The president, who recently had himself installed as the center’s chairman, has called a meeting of its board to approve changes that would give him more input in the process.

Artists, if you ever doubt that what you do matters, just look at the efforts the Trump admin is making to control what art gets made, seen, recognized.

Adams must be removed. The city cannot sustain being governed for nearly a year by a Mayor who is being coerced by Trump admin in order to escape charges.

This corruption poses a real threat to the people of the city. He should have resigned a while ago, but will not. So it’s time for him to go.

Anyone who thinks authors don't make money off libraries... there are almost 18,000 public libraries in the US. So if everyone went to their local branch, said "I'd like the new Pete Clines book," and they bought a copy... that's 18,000 sales.

Ask any author if that'd be good for them.
