Lots of people in Worcester don’t vote. Some groups are trying to change that. Residents say they don’t expect their votes to prompt real change. Others say they don’t have enough information to cast a ballot.

Worcester is full of potential voters who don’t cast ballots. Turnout in the city routinely ranks among the lowest in Massachusetts.

Civic organizations are knocking on doors to change that: https://bit.ly/43pCEdE

To the parents fighting for their kid to be treated equally in the classroom—Trump thinks it's not a problem.

On a personal and perhaps petty level I understand wanting to “dunk” on these people for voting for him and this, but the reality is, this is just another group of struggling Americans we need to support to unify our fight against this regime.

A reminder for this Transgender Day of Visibility:

Trans people have always existed, and we always will.

The celebration of "hardcore" work culture is keeping us from gender equality.

If men can only be "successful" by working so much they're eating every meal at the office, then they have incentive to avoid any care work that might pull them away. Which means pushing all the care onto women instead.

NEW: The actions of Trump and Vance in recent weeks highlight something under-appreciated.

The American right is now ideologically closer to countries like Russia, Turkey and in some senses China, than to the rest of the west (even the conservative west).
