This thing made us think about the power of recontextualization, and how things serve as symbols. The Hate Hat by Kate Kretz is made from deconstructed MAGA hats. We were amazed by Kretz’s visionary sense, as the work dates back to 2019. We’re currently trying to convince her to do an interview.
