2. Make sure children are not frightened into “self-deporting.”
3. Keep copies of any letters or emails you receive and contact your lawyer immediately before signing or sending anything.

A mother and her children have been taken. Stay alert, record ICE activity, and keep each other safe.
URGENT REQUEST FOR COMMUNITY SUPPORT: after months fighting for her eldest son's release from ICE detention, and facing harassment by her landlord, a single mother needs our help to find a safe space for her and her younger son.
Reports of feds taking people off the street in the Chicago area continue to come in. This video, shared around 10 a.m., shows at least 3 agents involved in arresting at least 1 man in front of a shop in Chicago's Belmont Cragin neighborhood. One agent seems to be photo'ing/recoding the incident.
