Saw some stuff on the Club Nationals streams today that leaned more on the “appropriation” and “disrespectful” end of the spectrum, and it gave me the ick.

I hope people at least supported Indigenous businesses (and, in turn, sustainable practices) with their purchase.

Sage is a sacred plant to the Indigenous people of Turtle Island and smudging is a sacred practice. White sage is over harvested and saging has been appropriated in many trends.

I’m not one to gatekeep saging IF it’s purchased from Indigenous people and the practice is done with respect/intention.
