Drafting a custom character sheet on paper has been far more efficient and fulfilling than trying to draft it on the pc. Gives a solid opportunity to also help reinforced themes in the setting, like 'Animal Handling' being 'Wrangle'.

So I realized a problem I've had with part of a formula was the convert/exchange deal is too many characters. Earlier today I realized I can have it be 'trade' and a pair of crates with arrows. If I then erase one of the arrows it turns from a mutual exchange to a one way acquisition.

An example of braille carved into a tile on the board. After being charted out to hold a 58 character limit, a message starts with a 'flag' note to show it's a capital letter before ending with a period 'flag' note to suit. Spaces are included in the character limit, and are telegraphed better by not carving in any grid lines through it to avoid confusion for the reader. Characters capable of empathy can simply touch the tile to comprehend it, while others fully capable of potentially carving in messages of their own can manage to read the tile at a distance. The example in question reads as the following: ,The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. The comma is used to denote the opening of the statement, and the period denotes its conclusion. If the message were to continue on another tile then it will instead have its final character be replaced with the flag for a hyphen after two spaces in a row.

Winding down with trying out some stuff, namely the archival methods of the game is planned to use braille. Anything wrote easily can be changed or mutated just the same, so word carving became the method for setting permanent messages which persist through any changes in the realm. Or most of 'em.
