If they understand the reality best, if one size fits all is bad, if they are best equipped to handle these problems, then why do we have a housing shortage? Why do we keep having to sue them to get them to follow the law? Why do their councilors keep getting convicted of land use corruption?

Can you imagine if we had to get a grand jury to issue an indictment? Present that indictment to the accused? Hold a preliminary hearing on the evidence? Determine pretrial detention status? Call a jury? Prepare a record? Present evidence? Prove guilt? Before executing people? Not how Trump operates

I know this is the wrong crowd for this but, I have an important test that I apply to new technologies that people think are going to fix everything. I ask "how does this help with the housing crisis?"

I don't know why, but the last few months it's like there's been some great awakening about how great C.L. Moore was. Everyone (including me) picking our heads up and looking around confused. Why isn't she a larger name in scifi and fantasy already? Where is the Jirel movie? Every story is a hit.

This isn't even like an advanced android from Star Trek, we know how this software works and we know for a fact that it is not conscious in any way. It's an undebatable issue. The reason AI is dangerous is specifically BECAUSE it's not conscious. It has no moral/even factual capacity in a real way.
