It would be so nice to not worry about traffic there - you could do 1d/wk for garbage/delivieries, or certain side streets. grafton shows there's appetite for it.

In the foreground, there is a dirt road bordered by rocks and sparse vegetation. A tall utility pole stands on the left side, with power lines stretching across the scene. The houses appear weathered, and the landscape is dotted with small sheds and overgrown grass, suggesting a remote or older settlement.
For 150 years, Africville, sitting right next to Halifax, was a thriving Black Canadian community.
Halifax refused to provide city services, and eventually forced residents to move as they bulldozed their homes.
This is the story of that community.

I cannot stress how important it is to have friends that you are allowed to cry around when shit gets to be too much.
You do not have to be an island.

The Air Canada workers demanded fair compensation and went on strike and the gov tried to shut the strike down through forced arbitration. They defied the order and had a wildcat strike. Despite the media pushing a corporate narrative the public supported them and they won.

Prepare a sacrifice for tonight. Put your laundry on the line today. Forget to bring it in. As you go to bed, say to your SO "Oh dear, I forgot the laundry, I hope it doesn't rain."

I made a HaliSky Starter Pack!
I realized as I was going through that there are some people that I don't know if you're local, so if I left you off, let me know. Also, if I included you and you don't want to be in the pack, let me know and I will remove you.

Are there any HaliSky drag performers on here.
I still can't tell everyone what I'm doing with the boa, but I can talk to Drag performers. I know they can keep a secret.

In this context, the federal Liberals' discovery of Section 107 seemed like a convenient workaround. Instead of going through the trouble of passing legislation, they could order workers back to work by sending an e-mail to the CIRB. We have seen the corrosive effect this has had on collective bargaining. On the employer side, it has shifted bargaining expectations. Rather than use the strike deadline as an incentive to hammer out a deal, they now drag their feet and let the strike happen, confident that the government will intervene to end it. On the workers' side, the repeated use of Section 107 has sent the message that their Charter rights don't count for much. Governments support the right to strike - until an actual strike happens. It's a return of permanent exceptionalism.

Yes. If you're feeling guilty, it sucks but also it's a lighthouse. Keep going (and keep practicing).
I physically "put" my worries and memories for work down each day/vacation day "pick them up" upon return. Idk if that helps, but it is tough n takes time.
Deeply recommend getting absolutely brainrotted about a pairing/oc/concept that no one else is making food for so you have to cook for yourself. Not only is making what you want to see deeply rewarding, you will improve and it will not even be on purpose it will just be the inevitable byproduct.
