Delivery Apps Have Stolen $550M From Workers By Changing How Customers Tip: Mamdani Admin. Report - Streetsblog New York City Uber and DoorDash have cost workers half a million dollars in lost tips, the Mamdani administration charged.

According to a report from Zohran Mamdani's administration, delivery apps stole $550 million from workers by hiding the option to give a tip.

The administration now says they'll be cracking down on DoorDash and Uber.
