It sure is weird that the Scream franchise stopped at Scream 6. You'd think they'd want to capitalise on it and make more.

Price and value are subjective tho tbf. The new Fire Emblem game could be €100 and I'd buy it day 1 without a second thought 💁 each to their own bestie, don't let anyone else spoil your enjoyment

So why its own thing and not in Nintendo Classics?

It's simple

Save Data Cloud & Rewind. Game Freak have routinely not wanted these so you can't scum encounters/releases/trades

Plus HOME connectivity would need its own save file too

For me it's mostly the price. The games are designed like double A games (eg no voice acting, lack of animations on NPCs, menus instead of shop interiors, poor sound design) but have triple A pricing. For me personally, they post DS era games just haven't felt worth the price unfortunately

These games getting proper eShop releases and not just being added to NSO is huge imo, I hope this becomes more common. But the games costing €20 each massively sucks. Two things can be true at once. Im happy these games are getting re-released but I won't be buying them at that price
