Since this place is so wholesome and kind I just want to share something I just remembered: when I was in high school there was a weekly market near the school where they would sell churros so every week we would do a collection and go there during recess to get churros for the class. I miss that.

And that's without mentioning the worldbuilding. How can it not take 13 years to write one of these??? A hundred years wouldn't be enough for me to come up with something like this; leave the man alone

Every chapter is written in 3rd person but captures so well the voice of their focus character, in the first book there were SO MANY subtle hints to what the Lannisters were hiding, foreshadowing is so well done I'm suspicious of every line pointing at something

I read them for the first time 10 years ago when I was still struggling to read in English and with a dictionary in my hand at all times; now I have a degree on the damn language and live in London so I can properly appreciate the writing and I'm IN AWE of it, it's no wonder the next is taking long

Listen I don't care if it takes 13 years or 31. I have been re-reading the other books. I have been taking NOTES. I am seated until and whenever it comes out and that's that
