They then say that they don’t want me to lose my autopay discount. They took discounts away from card users, and they probably want to avoid credit card fees. This is a poor customer service experience. Search “t-mobile autopay” to see all of the complaints.

@t-mobile.bsky.social appears to be turning off autopay if a customer uses a credit card. When you go to the site there are a lot of marketing messages about using a bank account, instead. They claim that they tried to use the card, but that is a lie. My app shows all charge attempts immediately.

Same happened to me. I think they want us to switch to a bank account. I told them no.

I am not worried about them - just making the point that their morale is probably bad. They might have signed up a long time ago, by the way, and they have nothing to do with incarceration or imperialism. In Seattle they ran free vacillation clinics during COVID and they help with search and rescue.

National Guard troops do not get paid during the shutdown. They are being forced to leave civilian jobs, paychecks, and families to fight in war zones that do not exist. In the Gulf War, some guardsmen started losing their homes, and they were getting paid. @underthedesknews.bsky.social

@wsdot.wa.gov it would be super nice if we could get messages like this as far back as E Marginal Way so we had time to reroute. At this point, there isn’t anything that a driver can do about it.

I drove past the Westfield Southcenter Sears today. The Sears name is gone and a Spirit Halloween banner is hanging on the building. When I worked at Sears in the 80’s, 50% of US households had a Sears card. Bad management and private equity destroyed an American institution.

Who remembers all of the National Guard who were activated for Iraq and then could not afford the pay cut when they had to stop going to their civilian jobs? I wonder how the activated members in DC are doing these days.

Today the orange man said that people who hit someone over the head with a baseball bat should have their citizenship revoked and then get deported. Two questions: do I get to pick the person that I hit, and does Scotland have to take me back if we left before the Revolution? Asking for me.

I drove past the port in the way to work and there are 2 ships from HK, one from Korea, and 2 bulk carriers from China. The trains were loading or unloading containers. Some new cars were on the dock, waiting to be moved. I believe that trade is impacted, but it wasn’t “empty.”

True - however many people are reporting that West Coast ports are “empty” when ships are in port and unloading, and that no more ships are coming which one can observe that is incorrect. Maybe fewer ships are coming but the number is now zero right now.
