it was expected that this would happen so I'm not surprised at all. she's also having her thyroid meds adjusted because the dose was too high. subcutaneous fluids, prescription food, and the right thyroid med dose will get her back to acting livelier :)

I remember falling asleep with her in the car on the way home. It was a 5+ hour drive and I opened her carrier but she didn't come out, she just snoozed next to me. I always say that's what started our bond because she's been my buddy ever since. I love you sm peaches

we've since cut contact with the people we got her from since they showed themselves to be terrible people so I'm extra glad we got Peaches. they're the reason she's not fluffy in that first picture (shaved...), and the reason she's declawed. she is so full of love I can't fathom not wanting her

my mom was friends on Facebook with one of these people and showed Peaches' picture to me. I joked we should drive out and get her. a few days later it turns out they weren't able to find anyone locally, so...we did that! she fell in love with us instantly.

her old owner, who lived in Ohio, passed away. for whatever reason, his children didn't want her. Allegedly it's because they already had cats and I think they also didn't want a fluffy one but like...who cares??? that's your dead dad's cat??? and she's also the sweetest thing in the world???
