So the house is going to vote unanimously to release the files, but not before house Repubs insisting the Senate Repubs votes against releasing them and insinuating they can’t all be released due to national security reasons. So they have no intentions of ever releasing them.🖕🏻😡

And yet he still believes the election was stolen, which tells me he hasn’t learned a thing. He still believes the lies and the conspiracy theories and is convinced him and his buddies are all patriots. He’s just mad at Trump for not following through with his promises. Still a sucker.

In addition to stealing all the jobs and buying all the homes and getting free healthcare & social security benefits and eating cats & dogs, they're hiding the cattle in their shirts? Throwing them over the wall? And why are they only bringing the sick cattle? They're leaving the healthy ones home?!

After all this time, Trump is agreeing to have the Epstein files released, which can only mean that they finish scrubbing his name from them.

Watching MAGA twist themselves into pretzels over the past year has been something to behold.

This will be their undoing.

It doesn’t surprise me that they’re gonna wait until December. That gives them a lot of time to work on finding someone they can bribe to change their vote.

People need to sit back and take a deep breath and stop being excited that the Epstein files are about to be released. If they were able to bribe 7 Senate Dems into turning on its own party, then it will be a piece of cake, changing the minds of their own party from voting to release the files.

They were never going to allow that vote to happen if they didn’t have the numbers. We need to stop relying on people doing the right thing because without fail someone will get paid off to flip. Trump has enough money to buy off any vote he wants.

For those who are excited at the prospect of the Epstein files being released, you’re gonna be disappointed. Mike Johnson would never have opened the government if he thought there were enough votes. From what I’m hearing Nancy Mace is gonna flip that vote. Money talks!!

The Democratic Party is historically unpopular with its own voters.

Caving to Trump and getting nothing in return will only bring these numbers down further.

It’s a historic failure—and an opportunity to push for changes to the electoral system.

It’s never a win to have the government shut down. If the Democrats were gonna cave, they should have never allowed the shut down to begin with and given up the fight. This will be used against Democrats and so will taking healthcare from millions.

What you don’t see is it doesn’t matter how we got here. Democrats just allowed the government to be shut down for 40 days for nothing. Those senators gave up the only leverage we had. And now the bill to take away healthcare is a bipartisan bill. They gave up the fight for all of us.

I’m sorry, but those Democrats voted alongside Republicans to take healthcare away from millions. They personally gave up what little leverage the Dem party had for absolutely nothing. They deserve the firing squad. I have no doubt in my mind that they were paid very well for their service.

Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength.

Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans.

The American people need more from their leaders.

Senator Hassan, how much did you sell your vote for? I was just wondering if it was worth the cost of millions of people losing their healthcare in many their lives. I hope karma comes for you fast and hard.

I’m so angry!! we were winning the minds and hearts of the American people with this fight and as always, somebody gets a huge payday and comes along and fucks it up. I wish we had a third-party that could really make a difference. Maybe I’ll feel better if I register as an independent. 🤷‍♀️
