(heather was a famous ingredient in Scottish ales) alongside hops. So, Pikestaff will also have small additions of heather and elderflower in the brew, a nod to what brewing might have been like at the time of the battle.

Strangers Brewing has created Pikestaff specially for Battle 500. It will be a traditional Scottish Ale, around 4.2% ABV, with a focus on malt flavours and character, similar to a traditional 80 Shilling but lighter in colour. 1500's
