Yukon climate factoid: the temperature at Dawson remained below -15C from December 5 through January 15, and all but three of those days had high temperatures below -20C. Can confirm, really cold. On the plus side, -30ºC has never felt so good.

I mean, a bit of an honour to have experienced this little cold snap. Curious as to when the last time we had a streak of 19 days in a row of -40ºC as well!

I love a good weather streak but I'm happy that this one is coming to an end. Now I can take out the battery from the car, warm it up, and then hope the car will start again! And also for the pipe to my washing machine and bathroom sink to thaw 🙃

You seem to have the same curse that I do. Some folks felt it in Dawson but I didn't. Only thing I noticed was the lamp swinging lightly in the kitchen.
