+spin is laughably short, but thats also kind of the point because while the swing itself doesn't have lots of range, the AOE it shoots out is LETHAL.

Something I also realized is that the greataxe knight's spin has a safe spot from his aoe, if you just stick to him and dodge his actual swing then the aoe would never touch you

But you can also create distance jump the aoe or use an airborn incant/spell, because the distance he travels with the+

So far my best record were like 3 hits and only 3 flasks used

To put it into perspective

I fought the greataxe variant like 7 times today

3 were honest deaths

1 was the winning attempt

And the other 3 were me ready to end the fight after a riposte but I let him kill me because I wanted to fight him again and do it better

These guys are probably my favorite optional boss in the game

If miquella hadn't fallen into despair and went into such extreme measures to achieve the happy ending he fought for his great rune would probably be sitting beside malenia's
