And if we don't act to end it, the GCC will abandon the petrodollar, which will destroy the US stock market and US economy.

And every day that oil isn't passing through Hormuz is sending oil potentially as high as $200/bbl. How long will the US economy last with $8/gal gas?

Without desalination plants, and 90% if their food passing through Hormuz, the GCC states will press the US to end the conflict, which means either bribing Iran for peace, a humiliating defeat that Trump couldn't tolerate, or putting boots on the ground. He will sacrifice US lives before conceding.
