I stopped following the NHL a few years ago when they cowardly sided with Putin on pride nights. Men's hockey locker rooms are notoriously among the worst high school aged sports on homophobia and misogyny (U.S. and Canadian problem). None of this should come as a surprise to anyone.

100 percent. It's so freaking subjective it's insane the penalty is so large. The closest thing to do is awarding PKs in soccer, but replay has largely made that have a much smaller impact.

They need to change the PI and holding rules. They are way too subjective with too much penalty yardage. Until then, it will remain a mediocre game at best.

It blows my mind that the NFL is so popular when almost every close game is decided by a refs call that could have gone either way. It's pure luck on the refs decisions in 75 percent of games.
