I’ve been reading this stupid webcomic I hate and all I can think of while reading it is “theses mfs omg”

i fucking hate when people say i have "a talent for art" when i used to get bullied for drawing badly. and it undermines all the work i put into getting better at art

I decided to also use a tabby cat as a base for the pattern and colors (once i eventually make a colored version). since they were common in my hometown in mexico, and because i liked how they looked. the was moddled off my own and some basic anime girl hair. (i i like being emby :3) (7/?)

I decided this time to make it with less restrictions and more freedom (still ended up plain lol), as my first doodle was rough and unapologeticaly me or atleast it felt that way. Ive always had eyebags and thick eybrows and eyelashes so adding it to me was a no brainer. (6/?)

but that could change later on since im not really sure aboout it lol. Now to the actual point of the thread why i redesigned my sona for the fifteenth time. My old desgine just didnt feel like me anymore, it felt a lot like a cardboard cut out of who I am, so i decided to remake myself (5/?)

Ive had trouble with my own identity for a while and my sona has been the main way ive coped with it. (thats why my more recent desgins have been simple or more plain) but recently ive found out that i was very much nonbinary, and already im not straight. Currently ive landed on being bisexual-(4/?)

My sona was and is kinda the only way I was able to express myself, Its been a creative outlet in a way i cant describe. Its gone to the point where i see myself as my sona. My sona ist a 1 to 1 replica of me but its close enough to be my mental image for myself. (3/?)

My sona has been very very important to me since its been my main way of expressing myself. My family has really harsh expectations for men, especialy for the oldest in the family. So any sort of expresion or identity outside of the expectation was shut down and looked down on. (2/?)
