I don't follow the careers of politicians particularly closely, but I find Andrew Leigh an insightful person. I read some of his books long before realising he's a politician.

Unfortunately, it seems like most people get into politics for the control.

the cool thing about wind and solar is that the private sector can finally pay it's way. Even for people who don't give a toss about the environmental aspect, they should be excited by the simple idea that if energy remains privatised, the private sector needs to pay, not us.

I imagine the day these become armed battle drones that take out the police drones surveying train yards and lines, then tag team on pieces - flying down the line to put those missing highlights on a piece that pulled out too quickly
