This is an exciting opportunity to join the shared public health service of Bedford Borough, Milton Keynes City and Central Bedfordshire Councils as a Junior Population Health Analyst. This role comes with a training and development opportunity, and you will be expected to complete a nationally accredited qualification in the first 24 months and will have one day a week of protected training time to achieve this. You will work closely with the Senior Public Health Officer to provide population health analysis and advice as part of a shared Population Health, Evidence and Intelligence Team that works across three local authorities and the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care System (BLMK ICS). You will provide data analysis and advice to the public health team and wider partners, as part of the BLMK ICS. They will support the collection of information and the processing of data to ensure its quality and integrity, and use best practice to maintain and enhance existing datasets. They will also help to develop new data collections to support the changing information needs of stakeholders. Our passion is to help ensure the best health outcomes for our local communities and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate that passion too.
