I read Sunrise on the Reaping, it pulled my heart out of my chest, stomped on it and set it on fire. Im still not over this book.

I am working out of a public library and there are a good number of people who seem to be on hard times using the facilities for various reasons like job searching, entertainment, charging peripherals, using the bathroom, etc., and I am struck by how important it is that libraries continue to exist

Contact your GA state rep adnask them to vote no on SB74, which will allow the state to prosecute librarians for giving materials they consider "harmful" to minors.

A law dating back to the 1960s makes it illegal to distribute materials to minors deemed to be “harmful” to them. Librarians were exempted from the law during the 1980s. Senate Bill 74, which the Senate Education and Youth Committee approved Tuesday, would take away that exemption.

You can make your voice heard and contact your representatives by using @5calls.org and @resist.bot. But did you know there is a resource where you can also fax your representatives. Check out faxzero.com/fax_congress...

You can also use resistbot via messenger app on FB and insta, they also have a website. Resistbot makes activism accessible to everyone!
