Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.

I’ve been asked quite a lot over the years about how I remain calm when responding to trolls and bad actors. Some day I’ll do a bigger write up, but one of the biggest things that has helped me a lot is to remember:

Also, I’d say Sam Lake/Remedy is another good example. Control feels very auteur-like.

The world would be a way better place if more people had this approach about harmless popular things that they personally do not enjoy.

I don’t get people who poo-poo on the things they don’t like as if it were a hill worth dying on.

There are plenty of things I don’t enjoy (like Soul-like games), but I’m happy for the people that love and enjoy them.

That screenshot reminded me how much I love the color palette of the original MGS. It still looks gorgeous, despite all the jagged edges. I hate how they destroyed it on the Game Cube remake and changed the colors to ugly brown shades.

I haven’t played it yet, but the fact that there seem to be multiple ways of solving puzzles, depending which power you choose to imitate, stresses me out. I normally prefer puzzles designed with a single solution in mind. Have you found this to be a problem?
