Me: I would describe my classmate as a regular, informed, and conscientious voter. She was not going to be put off by this but i fear so many were. You introduce enough chaos and inconvenience and fewer people vote. That is not right. Be prepared in November. (thx to her to letting me share this)

I voted. Determined that my right to vote, which was only legalized in 1920, not be denied. THIS is unacceptable and not democratic. Furthermore, incompetence is unacceptable on all levels. Full stop. /7

Precinct judge calls someone who says to let me vote, and oh, by the way, I’m told that could have voted at the new precinct. /6

Determined to ensure that my vote was not suppressed, I drive across town to vote. Polling site #2 - you can’t vote. The issuance date needs to be 30 days prior to the Election Day. /5

Told that I have to go to the former precinct to vote (even though the address is incorrect and the fact that I would be voting for some individuals not in my precinct). This was confirmed by a call to someone in charge. /4

Finally received it after early voting ceased. No worries - I’ll vote on Election Day. Today, new precinct won’t let me vote because the “effective date” on the card is March 20, despite the issuance date of February 18, also shown on the card. /3

In February, I filed with Dallas County a change of address to update my voter registration, again. Quickly thereafter, I was notified by the USPS informed delivery that my new registration card would be delivered that day. Received nothing. Lost in the mail. /2

if you search here for Tarrant County democratic early vote -- that is a normally very red county (Ft Worth) that had a big surge in suburban voters for Democrats in this election--you can see a lot of various data points. Might be indicative of what happened statewide
