It’s tough to say. I think removing racism needs to be tackled on all fronts, not just on hiring policies. Our current administration is absolutely no help and is doing a great job of undoing all progress previously made. Sadly, this is what our country voted for.

I think DEI is about rebalancing the field to help those who have traditionally been held back and discriminated against.
On the other hand, I’ve known white people who studied hard for careers, only to lose out on jobs because of DEI policies. They feel ignored and think Trump will fight for them.

If only there were something they could do about it…
