I think my boomer ass still doesn't fully trust over the ear wireless on latency but yeah getting something switchable definitely exists - just avoid headsets LOL

a lot of headphones have detachable wires because that's the part that usually fails, so you just swap the wire and keep movin I'd prob recommend something like that - I actually ended up switching to iem's because I was sick of messing up my hair + audio qual is solid + it's pretty cheap 😌

my general feelings about headphones is other than pads or occasional wire replacements they should last you effectively forever - I'd rather spend up front and get the quality + longevity

If progression is holding you back I'd try hanging out in more vc's with people - it's actually cheating how fun and helpful it is! Eventually tho we'll all hit a wall, and at that point I'd say always seek out positive experiences over sunk cost if it's not enjoyable for you (or break the wall) 😼
