And it's damn hard. Every day we face unfair trials, torture, ruined lives. It's impossible to get used to it.

The whole week I write news from Russian courts, broadcast onlines from there, transcribe speeches of the repressed. Nights and on weekends I write long texts, which cannot be quickly compiled between court sessions (for example, if i need to read a million volumes of a criminal case).

Alexey Gorinov — five years in a maximum security prison.

Until now he was in a penal colony. That is, they made the conditions of detention very strict for him. For an elderly man whose health they had already destroyed.

Honestly, it's very hard these days. There's little talk about Russian political prisoners in the public space, although the situation is terrible. I barely wrote a thread here today — I'm tired after reporting and I don't believe that anyone cares about this story :(
