my solution for resolving world conflicts has always been, and will always be, based on the pursuit of peace. war is a failure state which has no place in the world. call me a hopeless dreamer, a damned hippy, a useless coward if you will. political pacifism is a bigger project than just me.

there are many, many other civilians outside of Iran who are now suffering directly from attacks made in response to actions taken by the United States and Israel. they also did not deserve this.

nobody deserves to be a target or collateral in a conflict between governments.

of course i am aware that the Iranian /government/ is comprised of terrible people who have done unspeakable things to their own subjects, and to others. but Iran is not its government, it is its people. the crimes of the leaders are not the sins of its people. they do not deserve to be punished.

an absolute shit-tonne of posters on here shouted (rightly) from the rooftops about the bombing of civilians and civilian infrastructure in Gaza and Lebanon. please be sure that you continue to decry the bombing of such targets in Iran as well.
