It so is! It’s just mind blowing isn’t it? Why is this document not more talked about? It doesn’t bring conclusive proof, but as you say it brings more clarity! I wonder why he didn’t attend in the end?

How exquisite are these illuminations of Queen #CatherineofAragon & King #HenryVIII? From Catherine’s Book of Hours by Jean Pichore, c.1509, likely commissioned for her wedding by her sisters. @onthetudortrail.bsky.social thank you so much for showing me! guenther-rarebooks.com/artworks/984...

I wholeheartedly agree with this! When I started researching for my first book, I thought, "Can I really do this?" Now I've finished the first draft, and I'm sorting out image permissions. Do the research, tell the stories you want to tell, and the rest will follow.

Hello, #bluesky! Here's your daily dose of #histmed triviaπŸ‘‡

Napoleon's Toothbrush, c.1790. Napoleon brushed his teeth regularly using opium-based toothpaste. His toothbrush has a silver gilt handle and bristles made of horsehair, which would have been very rough on the gums. #skystorians

It’s been 12 years since my first book β€œIn Bed With The Tudors” was published, inspired by the experience of becoming a mother and wondering how women survived this (and other bodily ordeals) in Tudor times. #Booksky #author #books
