I do respect how committed it is to being a Gen 1 remake but stuff like not being able to evolve Golbat until you beat the E4, or breeding being locked to the Sevii Islands feels backwards for something that should be modernising the experience

Happy to call this my favourite Mario Tennis since the GameCube. Fever Rackets make a wonderful addition for Mario style chaos while regular tennis is as good as ever. There's also plenty of variety in the roster, courts, and modes to make this an excellent multiplayer
