All Crows Are Beautiful

Lot of activity by the food box the past couple days, lots of shiny things on tables, but always too many humans around. There's lot of cans in there, and there was a lot of bread, briefly. Still no ketchup packets. But there's a pear tree nearby, so we make do.

Day 18 since the last ketchup packet. Maybe the humans need a reminder? I'll go sit across the street and tell them for a little while. Caw!

Neighbor gave us a refresh this morning. 6/10: I can't eat any of this, and one of the earlier humans walked away with the can opener again.

(Why the dried beans? No one ever takes the dried beans. I don't even want the dried beans!)

Salad dressing looks good, though. It's no ketchup packet, but.

Food cupboard with two shelves; the top one has pantry items like cup noodles, fruit cups, peanut butter and jatz crackers); the bottom shelf is empty. There's writing in black sharpie on the top of the cupboard "[Give] what you can ~ take what you N[eed]."

The food and supply cupboards set up near the wall of the little park. Volunteers brought in some wood chips to help stabilise footing around the cupboards after the deluge of rain we've had.

Started the morning off donating some groceries to the free shop near the train station. Mum and i buy a few things on special with the grocery shop and i drop it in once a month-ish. #FoodNotBombs #AwabaPark #NewcastleNSW
