I guess the big question for me about this years police budget increase requests, I guess I don't understand why a local police office in the Passage or for that matter why the HRP/RCMP are paid out of the general rate, since they're explicitly geographically specific services.

I don't think BoPc ever listens to public consultations but the community members are my favourite thing to listen to every year (excluding anyone associated with alderney landing)
