Tinderbox was fascinating to illustrate since flint and fire steel used to look very different in medieval times, but I opted for modern version for clarity.

Had to learn a lot while painting, how to texture scales and how to pain metal for one, but I am quite happy with the outcome!

I’ve been using this mentality. It’s also easier to bring people to your side when you’re welcoming those trying their best and not demand perfection. Sometimes you can and should be strict with your choices (often it does take effort/discomfort), but if you can’t, any harm reduction still helps.

This little asshole was designed by @faetiainen.bsky.social and drawing them in the comic is always a mixture of emotions. Such as "I think I love/hate drawing tails", "how do your horns work" and "this scene will be rainy so I won't have to draw freckles for you".

Now would be the perfect time to go read this if you like to binge stuff!

It is such a great story if you are crawing for dystopia vibes with romance and magic!

Second to last update is now out! All good things must come to an end. Said The Stars will only have one more update to go before it is finished. The newest update includes the climax of the story, as well as the start of the epilogue...
