Any mods or cc installed? Just making sure we're eliminating everything. If there are, make a backup of your sims 2 folder in downloads somewhere safe, and try removing your mods/cc to test. Put your folder back after testing if any issues come up due to cc removal.

My daughter got me into Hamilton, I have had Hamilton ear worms since before Christmas. And I watched Wicked a second time yesterday, it was unexpectedly good.

Obvious questions probably but..
* Does your female sim have enough time left before aging to elder?
* Have you tried having the other partner initiate "try for baby" instead?
* Hot tub woohoo can be quicker if you need to keep trying.
* Possible Mod conflicts?

The first three really are precious. A lot has changed in the industry since TS1 and TS2 launched. Even during TS2 development a lot changed. Good old days. I stayed up all night waiting for TS2, reading my prima guide, with ex hubby sleeping in bed beside me. I wish we could have those days back.

Sims 1 and Sims 2 is such a joy. They're both exquisite time capsules.

Watching familiar Simmers remember and transport themselves back to their first days with The Sims brings such love.

Seeing modern Simmers experiencing Sims 1 & 2 for the first time is so wild. I hope you love it.

Wow. I got lucky with this Win 11 24H2. For over a year my system stuttered badly during every installation (not download). This update has fixed it hooray!
