Dude, we want people who will fight against ICE occupations, favoring the rich, destroying our government, undoing climate policy, consolidation of media by a wealthy few, etc.

The compact cannot proceed until Dems win more state legislatures.
Again, it comes down to winning elections as they currently exist. And to getting Dems to do better.
That’s bad logic. On Election Day, the choice is a D or an R. Not voting or voting 3rd party doesn’t change that.
The rest of the time, yes, work to get us better choices. There are various ways to go about that.
But refusing to participate on Election Day doesn’t make the 2-party system go away.
That’s been around like 25 years or more. It’s a great idea, but unfortunately difficult to accomplish. We have to win in spite of the electoral college.

Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi are already black holes for detention. Now obtaining release will be more difficult than ever. As more and more people are locked up, ICE will increase the pressure on those who are detained to give up.
The goal is an assembly line of coercion with no day in court.
At this difficult moment in American history, we must be honest with ourselves:
Our nation, once the envy of the world, is now in profound decline.
For the sake of our children and future generations, we must reverse course.
Funny how difficult it is for some to grasp this.
