Ah yes, the drawing that lured me into following you to begin with.

My mother found out I am Bi through a suicide letter upon being checked into a ward. She had a very lengthy speech when I got discharged about how she'd rather have me in her life and Bi rather than me be dead.

My father still doesn't know, but this far into life I don't think it matters.

One of those "Jump-n-carry" things. I had a rather cheap one when I was homeless and living out of my car. It powered a fan while I slept, jumped my car when my battery was shot and had usb slots for charging my phone.

Really helpful when you're alone with few options.

There seems to be miscommunication here.

You say backpedalling, I say clarifying. How would you describe wolves killing a surplus of elk/deer/sheep and not eating them? Just leaving the body after they kill it?

This behavior spawned several discussions, which you should read. It's fascinating.

Look up Surplus Killing to start, a current discussion with both biologists and Rangers. Then, search up how wolves teach their young to kill.

"Kill for fun" is always going to be a hard argument since we don't know what they're thinking or feeling, but the behaviors are, by definition, poaching.

I don't know what paint. Net is, but my friends who stopped using PS switched over the Gimp, which has a lot of the same tools. They found that transition seemless.

Wolves killing for fun and Dolphins being sexually aggressive are good retorts to this, tbh. But I do understand the intention of the quote.

I also believe that the most inhumane decision we've made as a species was crossing livestock with industry.

While it isn't the same, I can relate. I used to battle with Mania and it felt like hell to have outbursts I couldn't stop- like someone else was in control.

Do you have skill/practices that help with splitting? I know someone who uses DBT and Mindfulness exercises.

Curious if anyone else has the internal struggle where you want to play games, but your brain reminds you that every minute you're playing games is a minute you're not working on personal projects- like writing or GM prep work.

Early stage Bluesky is multiple people posting constantly about how much better Bluesky is than Twitter, like someone ranting to their newest partner about how they're totally over their ex while still talking about them nonstop.

Lets not do that here, either, please.

Since I've seen countless posts recommending games, I'd highly recommend Enshrouded for anyone who likes that whimsicle base building and dungeon crawler stuff.

Currently one of my favorite games.
