When I'm up near the Canadian border or over the border they have a different model,satellites etc ....usually historically has been different in forecast,better?
I'm going to check to see if their service applies to " me"

I had this little sign made by my amazing wife a few years ago. I read in a bio of President Eisenhower,that one of his officials had such a sign on his desk. It seems like good advice.(Think things over) Seems like a concept badly needed these days .

Yesterday's "Arctic walk" in a local park. I was told that is now an "old fashioned winter",like when we were kids". I don't remember blasts upon blasts like this,wild swings of temps.,ice like this.This is different.

Actually they are on a mostly frozen creek.
Usually I keep them off ice...but this looked solid. Tru actually asked " can I jump in" 😄..."No!"
We on the other hand got rain and sleet along with snow.

Ya..the PT can be intense! ...I looked into an " aid" to sleep as I felt at about week 4, I was going to go nuts

Tell that to the great horned owl in our woods and the coyotes in the fields...btw..they love lamb as do the hungry bear this time of year

Best thing I ever did , replaced the left knee 2 years ago,sheep😄🐑 ..hang in there...they are right about doing the rehab and it will come together...be ready for when your nerves " come back on line" 😴...get good sleep 😊

I'm going to try real hard to enjoy watching a game of football with who ever is trotted out on Saturday. That said,yes,I agree,the summer was all wrong....too many chefs? And,the men's side has a thing or two to learn from the women's side.

Walking in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts.The long winter is slowing down or postponing what I do for a living,so might as well enjoy. It's still 7 days a week though with the sheep, poultry and dogs. But enjoying the time better without Meta. 👍

It makes more time for chickens,sheep and dogs! 🙂

Amazing young talent

Heard a single whoo last night,not really sure which it was..mostly we have the great horned..rarely any other..the dogs were quiet and unmoved but I sat up and turned,wish it might call again some night,but maybe not the rats.

Our ingenious hens find forage despite all the snow we have.They have plenty of food in the chicken house where it is snug and warm but they love to go about looking for their own feed,here and there.
