Otto Kemp and Griff McGarry have been named the 2025 Paul Owens Award winners, presented to the Phillies' top minor league player and pitcher
22.09.2025 18:47 β π 9 π 0 π¬ 0 π 2Aidan Miller singles off Kodai Senga, then steals his 59th base of the season
19.09.2025 00:01 β π 20 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I have zero idea what to make of Felix Reyes as a prospect, but heβs had an incredible year and keeps it going with his first AAA home run hit at just 92 mph. Heβs probably the front runner for the Paul Owens Award after winning the Eastern League batting title
17.09.2025 00:47 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is an A+ reply
14.09.2025 15:47 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It was a two-hit night for Aidan Miller, who reached base three times. He doubled to center on the first pitch of the game with an exit velo of 105.7
13.09.2025 04:01 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Aidan Miller has his first AAA hit, yanking a hanging breaking ball into the corner for a double at 100.5 mph
10.09.2025 18:45 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Maybe the best outing of the season for Andrew Painter in his penultimate start. He throws 5 innings of scoreless ball for the first time since June 15
5 IP, 3 hits, 0 runs, 0 BB, 6Ks ... 74 pitches, 47 strikes ... 13 swings and miss ... Sat 95-97, T98
Aidan Miller plays the game like itβs moving slow to him. A lot of young guys might rush this play, but he knows how much time he has, settles and makes a good throw. Seeing him in person has been different than watching broadcasts.
10.09.2025 00:12 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Another really good PA from Aidan Miller earns his second walk of the night. Down 0-2 he battles back to walk, then steals second on the next pitch. Still hasnβt registered a AAA AB, but has two steals. Kenta Maeda has shown Miller nothing but spin, and Miller has been real patient with it
09.09.2025 23:34 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Aidan Miller walks in his first PA with Lehigh Valley. Spit on a couple good breaking balls running away from him with two strikes
09.09.2025 22:44 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Wife is at a church meeting, so nowhere else to be than at Aidan Millerβs AAA debut with a Wallenpaupack Cream Ale in hand
09.09.2025 22:11 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 0 π 019 games to play?
Let's get weird.
Phillies first round pick Gage Wood records his first pro strikeout with Clearwater thanks in part to a good ABS challenge from catcher Luis Caicuto β¦ Sitting 94-96 early
06.09.2025 22:37 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Dante Nori ropes an RBI double to the corner to put Jersey Shore up 3-0 β¦ Heβs got 12 hits in 9 games with the BlueClaws
05.09.2025 00:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Justin Crawford leaves Lehigh Valleyβs game in the first inning after taking a shoulder from Otto Kemp in the face on a no manβs land popup
05.09.2025 00:14 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Jersey Shoreβs Dante Nori swipes his 50th base of the season across two levels (37 at Clearwater, 13 at Jersey Shore). Nori is 50 for 59 in stolen base attempts this year
04.09.2025 23:24 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Totally fair, and quality, point. I think the idea is you want to give guys who have any amount of potential to be a starter every opportunity to succeed as a starter. If someone has pure stuff, the transition to reliever can be quick, i.e. Seth Johnson
04.09.2025 13:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think it was purely about getting innings. He missed 2024 with Tommy John, and you just need him to pitch. He wasn't in the plans for 2025, nor should he have been. He had done nothing to show that he could make a Kerkering type run through the system.
04.09.2025 13:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Jersey Shoreβs Saul Teran needs some serious Paul Owens Award consideration after a scoreless 10th inning and a pair of strikeouts tonight:
37 G
5-1
1.23 ERA
14/15 saves
44 IP
29 hits
7 R
6 ER
54/16 K/BB
.192 BAA
1.02 WHIP
Alex McFarlaneβs AA debut with Reading was pretty electric. Sat 99-101 on the broadcast gun, he struck out three, walked his first batter and allowed a hit. But all in all a really good showing from McFarlane out of the pen
04.09.2025 02:13 β π 9 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Phillies fifth-round pick Gabe Craig made his second appearance for Clearwater tonight, striking out one in a scoreless inning. Sat 93-95 with the fastball.
04.09.2025 00:57 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Phillies 10th-round pick Cole Gilley made his pro debut tonight for Clearwater, striking out the side in his first inning. Gilley threw two shutout innings, allowing a walk and not hits. He sat 92-93 with the fastball, but I really liked the potential of the changeup
04.09.2025 00:48 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Otto Kemp hands the lead right back to Lehigh Valley with a sky-scraping two run home run in the first inning
03.09.2025 23:04 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Welcome back, Aidan Miller.
After missing the last four games, Miller leads off tonightβs game for Reading with his 13th homer of the season, a 398-foot shot at 110 mph
Aroon Escobar with his second home run of the series, a 2-run shot for Jersey Shore
31.08.2025 20:34 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Dante Nori has two more hits today for Jersey Shore, including this RBI single driven past a drawn-in infield. He has a hit in all six games since his promotion
31.08.2025 20:29 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Aroon Escobar having a nice night for Jersey Shore, heβs driven in a pair, including one on this solo homer. Itβs just his second home run since being promoted
30.08.2025 00:30 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Justin Crawford adds on to the Lehigh Valley lead with with a two-run home run to dead center field. Broadcast said an estimated 418 feet, but statcast didnβt catch the numbers. Itβs the seventh homer for Crawford, and his third in his last 4 games
29.08.2025 02:46 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Remember when I said last night Gabriel Rincones Jr was finding his rhythm again after his ankle injury? Heβs got two home runs tonight for Lehigh Valley in Omaha
HR1: 107.8 mph, 432 feet
HR2: 103.8 mph, 406 feet
Gabriel Rincones Jr gives Lehigh Valley a lead again with a two-run home run to the opposite field. Itβs the 14th homer of the season for Rincones, who has driven in four tonight
