Panel 4: The standing man still gazes out the window. “Oh…” he says. Panel 5: He looks down at his coffee. “Maybe just.. A pumpkin…” Panel 6: He looks wistfully out the window, drooping. “Just one…”

This story was partially inspired by odlaws' Mortician comic, which is one of my favorite reads every year. :)
