What do YOU want the Health Minister to know about eating disorders?
Iβm meeting Stephen Kinnock MP about the need for more research into ED. But itβs also a chance to share more. Iβve heard from experts by experience. But, if you could have the Health Minister hear one thing, what would it be?

Good to meet with Vanessa Longley, CEO of Beat, to discuss tackling the eating disorder crisis.
In my 6 years as Chair of the ED APPG, Iβve seen the situation worsen. We must keep pushing for better services and stronger support for those affected.

Tomorrow, join campaigners at the #DumpTheScales march to demand better awareness, treatment, and support for those affected by eating disorders.
For too long, these serious illnesses have been misunderstood and neglected.

Mayor hails impact of mentor provision for 100,000 young Londoners
The mayor admitted there is still βa huge amountβ he wants to do to ensure all young Londoners βcan grow up to fulfil their potentialβ
Great to see coverage of Mayor of London meeting some @ChanceUK
mentees. Mentors can be role models at a critical point in childrenβs lives, most importantly, together, they can find solutions to give children hope for their future.

This has to change.
We can do better. Early intervention, at the earliest point of need, and proper support can transform futures. Together, we can create a system that works for every child.

@ChanceUK research Primary school exclusions are at an all-time highβand itβs the most vulnerable children who are being let down. Over 97% of excluded pupils have special education need or disabilities, and 90% of those excluded in primary wonβt pass GCSE English or Maths.

Are we surprised families are losing confidence in the system? BBC on challenges faced by children with SEND shows families feeling let down. @ChanceUK we see families whoβve waited years for support.
