No way would have got my B Smoke mostly-maine-coon kitten into the car, it took me all day to get him down from the cat tree when I put the harness on, so well done you!

The graves outside Farfield Quaker Meeting House in West Yorkshire at first seem rather confusing: one grave calls January the eleventh month and another calls June the fourth month. However, this wasnโ€™t an error or a simple mistake.

I'm off to Devon this evening - in a virtual sense, that is - to speak to the good people of the @devonfhs.bsky.social

I'll be live via Zoom at 19.30 and we'll be looking at our ancestors' annoying tendency to lie - or at least, to be economic with the truth...

Collating the St John's #Graveyard, #Nelson, #Lancashire, unmarked graves โ€” public/common #Graves for the poor โ€” is hard.

In 1 + 1/2 of the 14 areas, 662, mostly children.

Great Uncle Frank, a twin, died at 5 months old in 1907.

The wind blew in a blue tile as if to mark the spot for me to find.

Lol, fun :) I did well until I got to just another shade of grey. 42 something out of 50, but then I clicked next and the result went away...
I'm putting the 4 good ones down to the sunshine outside, we rarely get it, so a bit of sunny magic helped.

Hope you're well?
