haven’t sketched for myself in forever. i feel as an art student i’ve become too caught up in perfectionism & burnout. i lost sight of why i chose to pursue my dreams to begin with. this piece isn’t perfect, but it felt good to draw. reminded me to let go &realize that art is something i LOVE doing.

yes exactly! it means a lot that this comic can evoke those emotions from you. one of my biggest goals in creation is being able to connect with others and make some sort of impact with my art. thank you, we actually reunited 6 years later and are together now :) i really hope you’re doing okay too!
