Pictures of my parents on their wedding day in 1942 and of my Dad in his navy uniform before he left for the war in the Pacific.

Remembering my parents Carroll & Elizabeth. Dad was in the Naval Reserves in 1942, he and Mom married on September 5th,1942 and then Dad was off to serve in the Navy in the Pacific until the war was over.

Just have to keep moving. 🤬

Yo! My Dad was on the 383rd & was in Tarawa & Tinian and the Aleutians. We still have his huge, wooden kit box filled with cold weather gear & clippings my Mom kept of those battles. My Dad rarely spoke about his service, even though after the war he was in the Naval Reserve for almost 30 years.
