New HDHomeRun "early access to new features" UI release 20250725 is out. Features new widescreen titlecard images, new background color, and some important bugfixes for DVR customers. Go into the HDHomeRun app Settings menu (gear icon) and enable "early access to new features" to try it out.

Third-party devs - we will be changing all titlecard images from 4:3 to 16:9 aspect around the end of August. If you display titlecard images in your app please ensure that they still render correctly when the retrieved image is 16:9 aspect.

We are dropping support for record engine releases older than mid-2018. If you are running the HDHomeRun record service on your NAS, Mac, Windows, or Linux system and haven't upgraded the software in the last 7 years now is a good time to install the latest release.

Easy... just run a new channel scan (HDHomeRun app, Settings menu, Channels). The HDHomeRun automatically matches your channels with the correct TV guide.

You should already have the Apple TV update. If not, go into the app store and check for updates. To delete a recording go to the episode, press right, and select Delete.
