So many people in the industry don’t want their name next to their abuser in google searches & don’t want that persons name to be the first thing you think of when you hear theirs, and they ask friends to keep their mouths shut as a result. So if you hear someone is shitty or a predator, BELIEVE IT.

I manage socials for a brewery & the amount of slop I see small businesses using is *astronomical.* It’s been suggested I use it for posts ect, to which I say, “absolutely fucking not,” but most people (owners/coworkers/patrons) don’t understand why. Worse - and more likely - they don’t care.

I added the pickles to the original recipe (pb, sour cream & cheddar chips, bbq sauce) after a few bites of the original, because it needed the acid badly.

Please heed my observations! And let me know what you think. I sampled in the same state, highly recommend. So to speak.

It really, really is.

- if I were under duress & had to make it again, I’d use a smokier or spicier BBQ sauce
- my instinct was to lean in & add some Grillo’s pickle chips after the first couple bites, for acid & moisture. This was the right move x1000. With the pickles, it almost had a bánh mì thing going on.

I had to make Jeff Daniels favorite sandwich. (Kinda.)
- traditional pita
- crunchy pb, so it might have been richer than intended
- honey BBQ sauce, which was too sweet
- sour cream & cheddar chips, which I’ve come to the conclusion I have no use for; salt bombs, no real flavor.

BLUE RUIN is a tense, small masterpiece.

Additionally… when I saw that reply I *thought* it was for the other thing, and wrote a reply as if that’s what it was. When I realized what thread it was in, I backspaced it all and was like “oh that’s funny he’s revisiting that Affleck thing - I thought he was asking “how” about the other thing.”
